Art Print Collection
Penciled! is a collection of wall art prints that feature hand-drawn letters created by Sound of Lettering.
STORY
In 2022, I start to feel stuck in the loop of creating and posting on IG, only to make me feel like whatever was already posted was a thing of a past. So I decided to create a project myself, Tiny Art Frames (#tinyartframes), to create something for someone. I created posters, posted on IG, and randomly selected a winner to send a postcard version of the print to.
INSPIRATION
With rise of AI among other things, I feel more and more pulled towards things done by hand. I've decided to use the simplest medium - pencil - for this collection. If you see the pieces closely, you can see the imperfection.
PROCESS
All the posters were created using a pencil brush in Adobe Fresco. Each piece was created in black and white first, and colour variations were created afterwards.
